Finance

Planning
Outlined follow up meeting with County Farms – Thursday 5 March. County Officer felt we might move forward by getting pre-planning advice with SCDC. This was already on our forward plan. Trustees all agreed to take this forward. Action on Tom to arrange.
Discussion of preparing an outline planning permission for track, other amenity (play area, balancing pond, allotments) and housing on County Council land. Organisation does not need to own land to put application in. Stunt to bring discussion to planning authority, and wider public awareness. All agreed this was worth exploring. Action: Tom to investigate how to achieve. Likely for after the May SCDC elections.
Share confirmation from Parish Council working group that the charity will be invited to site visits with pump track contractors at the Recreation Ground.
AGM. Salvation Army Hall booked for Monday July 13. Action on all: prepare content.
New Trustees. Will keep asking on social media. AGM a good opportunity to recruit new people.
Engagement
Feast 2026 – Is the modular track hire feasible? Need assistance from all trustees. All agreed to ask Colin if he wishes to be involved in fundraising. Action on Tom to speak with County Council Communities Team about funding.
Action on all: creation of new interactive elements focused on track specifics.
Proposal from Tom to have craft supplies on the stall. Allow children to design a track. Help to have parent engaged with stall for longer. Could see about track contractor involvement to have CAD available for older teenagers. All agreed worth exploring.
Forward meeting
Discussed forward meeting date. A move to fourth Monday of the month proposed and agreed by all. This will prevent clash for interested members of the community with the Green Party drinks on the same calendar.
