We’re disappointed to hear that the draft Terms of Reference for a Histon & Impington Parish Council Pump Track Working Group have been delayed until the November Full Council meeting. Like many in the community — especially the children, young people, parents and grandparents who took time to support a pump track at the celebration event before the previous meeting — we were hoping to see progress this month.
That said, we fully understand that getting this right is more important than rushing it. If a short delay means the Pump Track Working Group can be set up on a stronger footing and properly coordinated with other local projects, then it’s time well spent.
We remain committed to working positively with the Parish Council to help make a Pump Track a reality for our community — a space for children, young people, and families to get active, have fun, and come together.
